I am becoming quite a fan of RW Seren - get the ratio right and your average pace remains similar and it is way less tiring!

I'm trying to not RW but find myself taking too many walking breaks. I have run this morning, a nice little breeze now and then and also cloud from time to time. It was supposed to be a threshold run but too much walking and stopping for chats involved.

At least you ran, Alpenrose, somehow i rode instead because I wanted to look at an amazing tall ship that moored in Portland harbour yesterday. Off to Dorchester later.

Another here moving to run/walk, at least for the longer runs of an hour or more. 4 mins r, 1 min walk this morning except towards the end when I abandoned the walk breaks. Was cooler this morning, only 15 degrees when I set off just before 8.00.
Must go and look for the run/walk thread. Hope it hasn't died.

Fierce and Focused Fleecy
All my runs are run-walk, especially when it’s this hot Nice 5 miles run with my friend. We do tend to run up the hills and take our walk breaks on the flat though! It’s still hot and sunny, just not ferociously hot today.

I'm like you AR, trying to stop myself taking walking breaks. It's an unnecessary habit on many runs.
I calculated my WAVA from last night Dipps - a smidge over 67%, OK for the conditions I think.
Been for a bike ride to and a swim at the lido. I was swimming with a friend who is a swimming teacher at various schools locally. She very tactfully suggested I might like to go to her Adult Improvers class that she has started with some colleagues I think I will give them a try, as I'm quite sure I've got lots of bad habits which could be got rid of with some proper tuition.
Isn't it great news about the Thai cave rescue? When the news seems almost constantly bad, it's a relief to have some 100% good news!
