Evening all.
Happy Birthday to PP and ferret - sorry it's a bit late 
We had our first Summer League meet today, in Perivale. 5 miles. I was hoping to beat my very old (10 year!) PB but it was so hot that all ideas of that went out of the window after a few minutes. And then we had to do relays - there were so few of us from our (admittedly small) club that I ended up in the ladies' A team. Ha. We came last. And last in the mixed B team relay. 3 hours travelling there and back, and I've spent the rest of the day recovering.

Alex, the 700 photo should really be at the point where 700 miles are achieved, but we will accept a photo of a nearby bin or bench

Oh Paula, that was our summer league meeting. I'm sorry to have missed you. I really wanted to go but am injured and knackered after a long day yesterday. Maybe I'll make the next one.

Yes, I know. We've had that conversation here, too. Unfortunately I wasn't at the meeting when they chose the dates, and although I've always managed to not go to anything scheduled on Father's Day I don't have a choice this time as I'm the club rep. Also I'll be missing the Regent's Park one as I'm on holiday so I need to go to the ones I can go to.

Thank you all. I am fed now, and the bite on my leg hurts a great deal (swelling now 1ft by eight inches ).
