Happy birthday PP and Ferret. Well done to the flag earners, and phew, 'aint it hot?
Two days before I return to my long walk, and the twinges are becoming more noticeable, but so far, manageable. And to think I was worried I'd been lazy and booked too much recovery time!

Took oldest boychild out for a short pootle, dropped him off at home as he was complaining of a sore knee, carried on for a 15m total. Not what I ideally wanted but really wasn't enjoying it today

Just completed a very hot run walk, which has given me my longest weekly mileage since I got the flu in February and my first  since then as well

A mile short is ridiculous for any race, let alone for a 5k. If it makes you feel better LG, I misjudged my route today and did 7 miles instead of 6. So I’ve done missing mile for you.
I’m also doing beach 10k on Tuesday. Must check starting time.
