TeeBee - my oldest was at a PGL weekend with school too. He said only 7 kids turned up today (it's a small school, but even so!). He tried it on about him getting the day off too, but no chance was he staying home alone while I went to work!!

Evening all.
I almost had a sock free run yesterday. Got changed at work only to find had every other item of running attire possible (shorts, capris,2x long sleeve tops, t-shirt, gillet, waterproof jacket) but no running bra or socks. Thankfully gym bag was in boot so managed to nip to car and had spare and get changed again. I was not having the best of days yesterday.
Don't think I could run sock free. Was bad enough walking to car & back. Think I'd end up with blisters.

7 sockless miles? Well done! I shall be thoroughly packing my running bag tonight. Should maybe keep a spare pair of socks in handbag!
Think you are due a rest Carp. Especially as you were up super early by sounds of mundane thread.

Managed to run 5km non-stop so a pretty good club run. Garmin only recorded part of the run.
Been starting to get shin splint pain I think. i'm not running too far, too often or fast. What else could it be? Trainers?
