I'm not a fan of doing core exercises. My core has got a lot stronger through regular weight lifting, but I think today's session is going to kick my abs (see what I did there?! š). And tomorrow I will probably feel like I have been kicked in the abs! Just had lunch though, so need to wait a bit before I start....

Done - wasn't too bad in the end although I was initially wondering what I'd let myself in for with all those mountain climber things and side planky things! But the second half was much more pilates like - so I was ok there.
Suspect I may have hurty abs tomorrow though....

OK it's done! I agree with you Treacle - at the start I nearly threw my toys out the pram with those mountain climbers and side thingys! But I got on with it (albeit with a few very short breaks). Well done me! The lesson I should learn from this is.....? š

I found it harder than I thought I would - my upper abs are sadly under-developed.

I do lots of abs stuff too, Teebs (I know you do with bootcamps and everything) - and still found the first 10-12 mins challenging.
I think a second time through (not that I'm going to) the oblique mountain climbers - high extended leg then knee to opposite elbow, continuous, would be easier. Part to do with fixing the movement pattern.

Treacle I think you are right! š Though perhaps I will grudgingly admit I need to do a few more sessions like this...

Done. I thought it was tough. I made the same mistake as Sharkie in doing the side lifts with my hip completely off the floor (iPad on the wrong side of the mat as per). Second side def easier. However, I find it near impossible to keep the small of my back pressed into the ground when Iām doing all the leg raises.

RR- that was definitely it - ipad in wrong place to see! Silly hard balanced on stacked ankles, trying to keep whole body lifted as you twist into a thread the needle type thing. Almost too easy with shins down. (Almost).

Yeah. I didn't like it much for all the reasons already given. And I feel like I must be doing it wrong because it's my shoulders and wrists that hurt in the mountain climbers and downward facing dog leg thingies and my thighs that hurt in the ones on your back. Bah!
