Mammogram went fine, 2-3 weeks for results this time as it’s a general check-up rather than a GP referral.

Very sad Jenny, condolences to you and his friends in the running club and to his family too, of course.

Lots of lovely tributes in the ITV news report on the tragedy.

I saw that yesterday G, lovely tributes.

Very true HoD - I never saw the programme, but one of my mates at club said last night that when Victoria Pendleton attempted it she had to be sent home after suffering lack of oxygen - shows fitness is no guarantee.

Glad it went okay Pikelet, hope all goes well with the results too.

Oh, as it’s now the 1st November, and we’re heading towards the end of the year, thought it might be a good time to ask if anyone wants to volunteer to be thread admin next year. Drop me an Fmail if you do and I can explain what you need to do (it’s all pretty straightforward).

Just to let you all know I'll be doing the roundup on Monday...so no one panics that I've forgotten to do it! :)

Easy 3.5 miles yesterday and 5k today.

My 1500 will be more like mid Dec now - but it's going to coincide with my 20,000 miles (12 years on Fetch, roughly), so that will be a nice BIG milestone! :-) G

Impressive numbers there, HappyG. Good morning 1500ers. A lovely sunny day here in the East Mids, though I suspect it might be a bit chilly out.

Another running rest day to let my weirdly swollen left second toe continue to settle down after Friday's mara. It's definitely looking more normal today.

Vegetable soup for tea to use up the weekend's leftovers, and will get some nice crusty bread to go with it.

Turned out nice here too.

Stevenage half was conquered yesterday, finally got my HM 70% WAVA .
Just been out for a recovery run and narrowly escaped from being hit by a high velocity dying deer which was catapulted across the road at me as it was hit by a car.
