Lovely pic, Toks, well done! Sorry we didn't get to meet up, but there's always such a crowd at the start. I quite like the MK route, it's like a magical mystery tour, you never know quite where you are! Mine was a very slow plod round, especially the last 6 or 7 miles, but got to the stadium in the end. Why do they always make you run all the way round the field at the end?!

Hope everybody had a good weekend.

I was the only one at my yoga class today so had a one to one session. I feel released from my creaks. Very nice.

Sorry to hear about the dodgy hamstring issue Jono :-( Hope a bit of rest will help. Funky says hi!

Well done on the MK mara Toks (stadium finish looks good!), and on the Newport Mara JK! We were supporting at Newport, so would have kept an eye out for you if I’d realised you were doing it.

I’ve had a slightly unhappy ankle - physio visit last night suggests nothing serious, and nothing in the joint itself - been given various exercises and have been taped up, she has said to play it by ear but doesn’t think running short distances (even at speed) will be a problem, but said longer distances could aggravate it. Fortunately she doesn’t think this will stop me doing my marathon in 7 weeks, but I made need to play it by ear with the long runs and possibly do less of them / scale down the longest distance runs. Will see how it goes.

Ta, jennyh, hope the ankle heals quickly.

Intended to do a bit of running today, but the relentless rain is putting me off.
