Lovely dog Doc. I met Tirunesh Dibaba, women's 5k World Record holder and bronze 10k in Rio at the Great North 5k earlier. I assume she is running the GNR tomorrow, so one of Doc's rivals. I put doubts on her mind

My money is on Doc
parkrunned today, took it reasonably steady. Got Bawtry Forest Trail race tomorrow, better de-crispify the Mudclaws
Good luck to all GNRers and racers in gereral tomorrow (esp poor Dibaba).

Very cute pic of Maggie Doc!
Looking forward to victories for Doc and Neilio in the GNR tomorrow.
Well earned gold star JK!
Have parkrunned this morning, it was the first 5K for our second intake of C25K runners, and they all did brilliantly. Hope they all keep running, some of them are super-keen and can't wait to start the 5K+ programme next week, some don't seem so sure, so we will see.

I've arrived in Newcastle. Hot and sunny. Great journey on the train with an ex naval bloke from Edinburgh ..... Ultra organised sort of chap and some folk coming up to support their daughter who were unbelievably disorganised..... Not sure you are supposed to laugh that loudly in a quiet carriage !

I Tirunesh.
10 heart-rate miles this afternoon. No parkrun because I really needed some sleep. 10k race tomorrow to see if I can hit marathon pace on mildly buggered legs.
