Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

1st month I have npt increased monthly mileage, (119 in May) 117 in June, but still very happy with that.

Happy I was on the football pitches today as took a fall.... grass is still a stinger though and not aided with a yappy dog jumping up on me... the owner got very grumpy when i told her to control her dog......

Take care

Dogs. Grrr.

Or more precisely, poorly trained/controlled dogs, and their owners!

Hope you weren't too shook up. 117 is pretty respectable!

RFJ, running in excess of 100 miles per week, is very impressive. I think any fall can be painful, whether on grass or tarmac. I believe most animals will "attack" anyone that falls, even their owner. I've noticed that more people are putting their dogs on their leads in the forest, when we approach them. They are probably afraid that we will give their dogs the virus and pass it on to them.

Dave_K well done going ot for a run in the rain.

No rain here, but very windy. Ran a hilly 6 miles on roads with a running friend.

No rain here this morning, but humid and breezy.

I ran 6.6 miles in the forest this morning with two running friends. This included a structured hill session comprising 6 hill reps, 3 up one side and 3 the other. Recovery was down hill and a loop round the base.

Well done on passing the 600 Dave_K, and curses (!) to you passing me!
Just 5k this morning in almost autumnal weather and windy again.
