I love "the mounds of opportunity"re hill gg. That sycamore chop was appalling. Whoever did it can't be "all there" although our local authority chop undiseased mature trees down quite often in these parts despite them being so called concerned about the environment. Hope you enjoy tomorrow's park run FF, I wonder if those mounds will help you fly on the downhill! Well done on your 100 Lesley, steady perseverance and there you are! An early 4.3 jaunt along the river trail, still just light enough. It was calm, clear but very damp which gave an autumn chill. |

Steve it's the "appears to be deliberate" that's annoyed me - it's been done with a chain saw of course it was deliberate! I think someone wants 15mins of fab - idiot

Yeah, I just read that a 16 year old has been charged with criminal damage. Strange behaviour.

Well done Steve for your 4.3 miles jaunt this morning. I did the Farmers Walk this morning with heavier bags than usual, yet walked quicker, which is very odd. I suppose the thinking was, the sooner I get home, the sooner I can put them down 🫤 I'm resting now, as I'm hoping to be fit for Sundays half marathon, and free from the jabs after effects. 🤞 |

If you did the Farmer's Walk ok...if not better than usual, it's looking good for tomorrow hs. Hope you are rested and ready! Another 5.5 miles this early morning to round off September having done 101 miles, my first time of hitting a 100 since last October. Ok, it's run/walk but I was nowhere near that a couple of months ago. |
