Well done on the 11m run - I love a point to point run it has purpose. Hope your back is ok and you enjoy your holiday to avimore.

hs hope the effects aren’t long loved and it does t affect your half at the weekend but even a run/walk is amazing so just enjoy it. (It’s my kind of running I just love my ultra shuffling)

Sound rather damp where you are Steve it’s been dry here but so windy yesterday I got 4 in with a bit more effort this morning. Making the most of chilled runs before Karen starts to whip me into shape 🤣

Well done for your 4.4 miles this morning Steve. I'm hoping that I won't have to Jeff on Sunday. I didn't run today and won't run on Friday or Saturday, so should be ok.

GG, I'm feeling ok today thanks, so should be race fit for Sunday. I'm not setting myself any targets, except to get round.

Well done for this mornings 4 miles.

I had a "run faster" haircut this morning 👨‍🦲

I also like a point to point run but don’t get to do them much at the moment.

Well done Lesley on your 11 miler and well done to Steve and GG on your runs.

I don’t ‘Jeff’ but I do run/walks on most of my runs to keep my HR in zone 2.

I did a hilly 12 miler with a full pack on this morning. I also took my poles to get back to using them properly. My arms will probably ache tomorrow along with my legs 😂

Some good running going on, well done all.
A running holiday this week as in no running but plenty of walking. Not as much as intended but seeing and doing lots on the IOW.

I hope you enjoy your holiday FF on the Isle of Wight. If you want hilly walks, there are plenty of hills in Ventnor. I was born in Newport, so know the Island really well.

I seem to have shaken off the after effects from my jabs. I ran 5.36 miles in the forest with the Wednesday Group, which was a fartlek session, including "trains."🚉

What a good outing there Jaks. Any run/walk/run can be called "Jeffing" but it's more sophisticated when specific ratios are used. My "Jeffing" is enforced run/walking, sometimes I do a full session with ratios throughout and sometimes run/walk randomly or do it to keep HR in a zone.
You probably remember David Bedford having a "go faster haircut" in the Olympics (?) or some championships way back in the 1970's.On that occasion it didn't work! And the cap! Remember Dave Wattle? I usually wear a running cap too. Well done on the fartlek train and glad you didn't have any lasting jab after effects.
Just over 5k around local fields and no nasty wind or rain thankfully. But it was quite warm.
