Official results are in for Fridays 6 mile race. 45.46 and finished 58th out of 226.
Official result is 6 seconds slower than my Garmin which I uploaded yesterday evening.

For a PW that's pretty good though FF! Time passing isn't slowing you down LL, what a great run in the park! Like Evangel such a time is out of my ability zone now. It was pretty warm hs and if you don't like the heat you did well to get to the end. I'm a few years younger than you Evangel and hope that my pace decline isn't completely age related. You seem to be putting in some good miles whatever. After yesterday's best 10k of the year I had no energy on my four miler this morning; after the 10k I should have taken a rest day...as my wife said and what I'd advise after big efforts to anyone. But of course I'm big on throwing out advice and not so good at practicing what I preach.

Well done FF, I would a time like that.
Well done to LL on your parkrun PB.
Good running everyone ☺️.
Hope you are all enjoying the heat, I for one hate it. I was up early this morning but even at 7 it was too hot. 3.5 miles done.

Steve that's now not a PW that is 46.02 my first year of running it. Tbh I expected slower but happy with the result.
You should listen to your body even if you don't listen to yourself, take another rest day.

Evangel, all my pb's are back in the eighties and early nineties. My best minute miling pace nowadays, would have been recovery jogs then. Having said that, my WAVAS over the years haven't changed much.
That's an excellent time FF for your 6 mile race.
I like that saying 3M.
Your run today Steve, sounds like mine yesterday. I don't listen to my own advice either. I do agree with the others though that you should take more rest days.
Well done Lesley, putting in an early run in an attempt to beat the heat.
Well done Turkhish for also setting off early to beat the heat, and managing 7 miles.
I probably should have taken a rest day today after yesterday's struggle, but I ran my regular 10k road course at an easy pace. It was very hot, but this didn't bother me much. My average hr of 117 reflects the easy pace.
