I can understand your caution Steve, and I think you are right whilst tests are being carried out.

Well done LL, that's a good parkrun time. What was your max hr?

I ran 7.15 miles in the forest this morning with a running friend, which is the furthest since my fall. My average hr was 151, and max 185. This doesn't make sense, as the higher rate was during the final couple of miles when we were easing down.

It was 188 HS none of it rarely makes sense that’s why I don’t get too worried.

I later did 45 minutes on my exercise bike worked twice as hard with an average in the 130’s.

Well done on your run hope it felt ok.

LL, I don't worry either because the comments contradict themselves and aren't logical.I also find my average and max hr's are always lower during hard work outs.
Thanks, it did feel a bit harder going towards the end, but that was to be expected after such a low mileage week. I'm going to have a rare Sunday rest day tomorrow, so that I can hopefully keep up with the Monday Group on Monday.

After 5 days away I did some parkrun tourism this morning, unfortunately it was cancelled which I didn't realise until I'd travelled 45 minutes. I came home and cba'd to go out. It talks of rain here tomorrow all day so I might have the cba's tomorrow too ;-)

Law of s0d, FF. ☹️

steve45, absolutely be sensible and cautious whilst it's warranted. But I'd urge you to not give up, and always assume the best will happen.

My best parkrun of the year this morning, it was hard, but my HR stayed below 162. I'm fairy pleased with that given the effort!
