The major storm has passed! We even have sunshine this morning. We(torey and I!) did 4.1 miles along the trails whilst clearing loads of fallen branches etc, the worst debris I've seen along these trails. Two trees down which will have to be removed by the local authority, they are very good at responding to such issues.
Thanks FF, the streak continues! Mainly because I have little else re targets that I can pursue.
Will watch the European Cross Country Championships at 4pm this afternoon.

Still very blustery here I has meant I’ve had a very chilled weekend at home pottering and putting up the decorations I have no intent of going out other than to go to the supermarket and I’d put that off if we didn’t have a £6 off voucher to make use of. I hate winter.

Very well done for getting out Steve! Glad you escaped any real damage a friend is also in wales and they have had some damage to roof and garden.

Well done Steve and FF for getting out yesterday in adverse conditions.

Well done Steve for this mornings run/walk 4.1 miles with Torey. I will also watch the cross country this afternoon.

Sounds like a constructive weekend gb!

This morning was a solo 4.18 miles on roads. It was still very windy, but not quite as strong as yesterday. It was however, a much colder wind.

Thanks for the cross country mention Steve I enjoyed it. I had a 10k race yesterday. I’m not in good “racing” form and because of the weather I just decided to trot round without looking at my pace and quite enjoyed it.

Jack we all have days like that. Next one will be better.

well done steve for today and LL for attempting a race in that weather.

I went out this morning got battered with a family drama issue that sadly impacts my best friend and godson, fecking families.... sometimes living on the other side of the world could be so useful.

Anyway 5m done this morning, the new fenix headtorch is a monster! I won't run the next 2 days as I'm away with work and its going to be late nights & early mornings. I may do some yoga instead.

Life can be easier without family, its really sad that one segment of my family are unable to have an adult conversation, everything has an agenda. I was going to go on holiday with cousin & husband next year but I don't even want to spend a night with them.

Is that the cousin you had around Saturday evening?
