Good luck Peter!

Not so good Mrs B, might be worth seeing someone about it.

I was on it last year Hillstrider but not now.

Been really cold this week, pavements were slippy last night.

It's only a month since your fifty miler Mrsb. You did give yourself a bit of early "stick" after doing that, this few day's rest might well see you storming onward again. Hope so.
After a chilly week...so mild this morning at 9c!

A few more rest days should hopefully do the trick Mrsb. Have you seen a physio, hope it is nothing serious. My knee injury was a menisci tear, which has taken ages to recover from.

I haven't done anywhere near the mileage that most others have done on the Trail Runners list Lesley, perhaps next year.

Good luck Peter.

Hi everyone. My missis & I are back home after doing the Big Fetch Mile at Cardiff. It was the first time we had done a mile race as such. Each of us exceeded our expectations, with my wife doing 8:53, ending up with WAVA 75.21%. (She said she did it for my sake, because it was my birthday!) My time was 8:08, which I was very pleased with, as it's only 14 weeks since I returned from injury; so perhaps I've still got some resilience at 73! There was a 12 year old girl who did it in 5:45; that puts us in our place!

What a great couple of times there Evangel, phew, that sounds like it was eyeballs out! Nice too to note that a twelve year old is out there already making a mark like that.
