No, geographic failure. Thought I knew where farm was and got it wrong eventually arriving 1 minute after race hand started. Oops!

No running this weekend, but started walking Great Glen Way.

27 miles over 2 days. Good time in feet 😀

I bet if you'd started late you would've caught a few up Peter!
New world marathon record for male over 70 years old set in Toronto last week---2.55.17

If only I'd been blessed with genes as well as a vague determination!

And the half marathon record broken by a Kenyan in Spain yesterday..58.18...phew!

More embarrassed because the adult numbers were down - only one senior man.

Now that was cold! Lower temperature this morning running than any days in January til third week of February. Lovely to look at the heavy frost on the fields though.

No frost here today but windy and some drizzle in the 4th and 5th miles. It was hard work tempo running into the wind.

It was freezing cold this morning with an icy wind, but surprisingly no frost. I did a 5.1 mile fartlek run this morning on roads. This was my first attempt at any speed work since my injury in June last year. I'm hoping that I will be able to run at a respectable speed in the Oakhaven Forest Half Marathon on Sunday.
