That's a bummer, Akie. :(

5 extra windy miles and rather unexpectedly warm miles this morning brings me to 59/100.
Have I mentioned I don't enjoy running in the wind?

Cheers everyone. Ive come to terms with missing a few races (including Manchester Marathon) but now frustrated that its just taking ages, will get there though.

48 - 4 without the dog so averaged 7.20 mile pace for a 121 avg hr. Tells me the slow runs on trail with the woofer are doing their job.

That’s upsetting, Akie
My week of running up and down big hills in the heat has resulted in a cut back in miles. I’ll be back on the flat in the rain and cold on Thursday and curious to see if there’s any increase in pace or stamina.

Being somewhere flatter will make such a difference, GimmeMedals. Also what are the surfaces of the pavements like? I've found that the slabs they use for pavement in Tenerife are much harder to run on than the tarmac surfaces here in the UK. I don't know if it's psychological or not but it seems to make a difference for me. I definitely found running easier when I got home after my Christmas holiday.

I’ve been sticking to the road as the paths are so uneven, Ness. In places, the roads are “lumpy”, but much better than the paths.
