I seldom run to accommodate my wife. She does much higher mileage than I do and we seldom run together anymore because of difference in pace. That's the way we like it!

Like you Maz I do two evening group runs - Tues and Wed, I generally also run on a Thursday evening unless work gets in the way - partly because I feel a morning run straight after an evening one is not too sensible, and also because I get sick of washing my hair!! My weekend runs are in the mornings, but not early. I've never found running in the very early morning comes easily - although I do like the glow of satisfaction you get afterwards! I like unwinding mentally during an evening run though.

Starting work at 7 am makes running before work rather tricky. When I trained for my first marathon I did run early doors but then I didn't start work until 8 am!

I'm impressed Gobi - I usually get up between 5:30 to 6 for work, I can sometimes get up for 4:30/5 but struggle to do it regularly.
I love training at any time, but in the week, it does generally tend to be in the evenings.
