There's been a bit of debate about the 100 Marathon Club. But wait! What about those of us who don't want to run any (or many) marathons? Where can we proclaim our epic achievements? Right here, that's where :-).
Simple rule: Only half marathons count. You ran a marathon? Great. Doesn't count. To elaborate: A recognised half marathon race - you start, cover the distance, finish. Hopefully there's a nice or such. Walked a bit? Who cares?
I'm on 29 just now. I was initially quite surprised to even find myself on 1. At the current rate, I would gain membership in about 2022.
Anyone else going for it? Who's already there?

Sounds an interesting idea. I have run about 17 or 18 I think. Not sure I'd ever get to 100 though. I, like you, was surprised when I managed the distance first time round so each time I run and complete a race it's a bonus.

51 for me. Now running them about 40 minutes quicker than in the first few years of doing them.

As I haven't done my first one yet and I'm 45 it may be a tad ambitious - but I will certainly lurk on the thread if I may

OK. Now, where do we stand on the GNR? Correct distance, but not valid for records. In or out?
